Technology Industrialization Engineer – Chemical Production

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for industrialization projects. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, experience with industrial equipment, experience with scaling-up of production processes and the ability to analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

Your tasks

As a Chemical Production Technology Industrialization Engineer, you will be involved in:

• Scaling up of existing (paste preparation, oxide powder synthesis, tape casting) manufacturing processes and developing of new processes for mass production.

• Design and implement new production systems, methods, and equipment to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

• Choosing equipment and suppliers for scaling up of existing production and for new production processes.

• Develop and execute test plans to validate new processes or equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.

• Monitor production parameters, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and productivity targets.

• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual labor.

• Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and equipment, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to standard operating procedures.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance overall manufacturing effectiveness.

• Assist in the development of industrialization budgets, timelines, and resource planning.

You will work hand in hand with a team of industrial, production, and R&D engineers to select the best method for the manufacturing process and scaling-up strategy.

The role reports to the Technical Manager and will be based in Tallinn (Estonia).

Your profile –    experience in the grinding&dispersing process

– You hold a degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant field.

– 5 years of experience in Chemical technology in industrial companies, experience in launching new products.

– Knowledge of automated, large-scale machinery, and an ability in some situations to perform manual operation and testing of equipment.

– Experience with production of ceramic materials and/or oxide powders in large scale.

– You have experience in the field, having been exposed to innovative and challenging industrialization development and co-development projects.

– You are familiar with manufacturing processes, engineering drawings and technical specifications.

–    You have exposure to and enjoy working in multicultural, international environments.
